Courage, Hope, Growth and Freedom is what South Africa is made of. BICS would like to wish everyone a happy Freedom Day!
This day we celebrate freedom and commemorate the first post-apartheid elections since 1994. This is the month in which we celebrate the relentless efforts of those who fought for liberation and Freedom.
We at BICS thank all those that took part in the relentless efforts that have put us in the position of opportunity, and this is why we are proud to be a 100% black female owned company within our industry.

The growth and development of a nation depend extensively on the empowerment of its women – with a number of studies demonstrating countries that have expanded opportunities for women and children in education and work in recent decades have largely achieved greater prosperity and social development. As much as we are humble and blessed for the opportunity that freedom has given us there still remains a large portion of our community that does not experience Freedom Day as they should. Poverty, lack of quality education and health are just a few of the many hurdles that South Africans face in their everyday lives.

We believe that we need more done to help our fellow South Africa’s. We pride ourselves on some of our affords to give a helping hand in the affords to empower others. BICS has been involved in providing assistance to organizations like Avril Elizabeth Home for the Handicapped for 8 years, UNICEF for 5 years and most recently our founder, Lomo – donated sanitary pads to young girls at Matshwara Secondary School in Ga-Shongwane Lephalale Limpopo.
BICS firmly believes that we need more women in science and technology, as well as in the engineering field. The full emancipation of women lies in the hands of the future generation.

Although much has been done to emancipate women, a lot more still needed to be done for everyone to enjoy freedom. Today we come together be the cause of unity, let us give thanks this day to all those who added their voices to the liberation struggle.
